Independent
We provide independent advice based on the property, the instruction and the client’s requirements.
Clear, practical advice for buyers, homeowners, private clients and professional advisers across Stockport, South Manchester, Cheshire and the High Peak.

We are an independent surveying practice focused on clear, practical advice for buyers, homeowners, private clients, property professionals and Legal Adviser referrals.
The practice has been established for over a decade, with surveyors who have combined experience of more than 20 years in the residential property industry. Our work is centred on residential surveys, valuations, specific defect advice and selected expert property matters.
We aim to provide advice that is professional, proportionate and understandable. The purpose of our reports is not simply to identify defects, but to help clients understand the property, the likely significance of our findings, and the matters that may affect their purchase, ownership, valuation or future resale.
Local knowledge is important in residential surveying. Roads, schools, transport links, conservation areas, surrounding uses, neighbouring development and local property types may all influence buyer demand, valuation context and future saleability.
Where relevant, we place the property in its local context and explain matters which may influence a client’s decision, particularly where they are relocating or are unfamiliar with the area.
We want our clients to receive useful advice, not vague or overcomplicated commentary. A good survey should help you understand what has been inspected, what was not accessible, what defects or risks have been identified, and what should happen next.
Our reports are prepared with professional judgement and with appropriate regard to the agreed scope of instruction. Where further investigation, contractor advice or Legal Adviser checks are required, we aim to explain why.
We provide independent advice based on the property, the instruction and the client’s requirements.
We focus on clear findings, sensible next steps and proportionate recommendations.
We consider local property types, conservation issues, amenities, potential nuisances and resale context where relevant.
